PLEASE take a moment to visit this important campaign. My friends at Statement Arts have developed wonderful programs for New York area youth. This summer they have teamed up with the legendary Malcolm X and Dr. Betty Shabazz Memorial and Educational Center to run a free music and college preparatory program for 50 underserved kids. This is a much-needed program and will be a life-altering experience for these very deserving kids.
The contents of my curiosity poured out in semi-frequent musings on all things inspiring, cultural, interesting, unique and joyful

Texas!
I recently took a trip to North Texas to visit my cousin Amie and her kids Bruce and Kate. It was a fun trip, relaxing and easy. Exactly how a trip to see family should be! But seriously, how can you not have fun hanging out with these adorable creatures? Bruce will be 5 in December and Kate turns 2 in January. My cousin is a GREAT Mom which is evident after spending just ten minutes in their house. I am happy to get the chance to spend some time with them.
Oh, and then there's Baumer...
